What’s new in UltraBlocks 1.0.1

We’ve release the new version of UltraBlocks for WordPress Gutenberg. This is the really significant event. Many cool features were added that you won’t meet in other plugins.

• Added a Batch Editing option for multi-item blocks
• Fixed mobile styles
• Added an Accordion block with Inner Blocks
• Added Block Border option
• Other fixes

Batch Editing for multi-item blocks

As you know, we have multi-item blocks like Flip-Box and Pricing and the feature they were using was the Separate Editing when you were able to edit every field styles of every item separately. We keep this feature working.

But tests showed that items should be unified in most cases. That’s why we added a Batch Editing option.

Now, it’s possible to change styles of all the items at once.

Accordion with Inner Blocks

The new block you won’t get anywhere else. Two main advantages are:

• Item content is Inner Blocks so you can build any content
• Multi-item block

Multi-item means that you are able to add any number of accordion tabs and every tab will be able contain Inner Blocks.

Of course, that’s not all the stuff. This block is fully customizable like all our blocks. Take a look what you can do while setting it up.

• Content Background Color or Image
• Distance Between Items
• Keep One Item Always Opened or Not
• Separate Heading Border
• Detach Description from Heading
• Open Any Item on Page Loaded
• Heading Background Color or Image and Icon Parameters for Opened and Closed States
• Animation Settings

Block Border

By default, all our blocks had default border styles: 0px border-radius and no border. Not so prettily as wanted. The new option allows you to set any border for Block and Wrapper and it results in simply nice styles by default with rounded corners.

Other Fixes

There are also important fixes but not so surprising as we mentioned before. 

New items in multi-item blocks now are added with styles of previous item. Mobile style became better and we won’t be ashamed of how UltraBlocks on mobile devices. An item width might be set for Feature List Block and as per this new option was included we reduced number of layers to two. 

All blocks were moved to custom categories UltraBlock Common and UltraBlocks Layout, now it is easy to find your favorite blocks 🙂

And finally, default styles were improved along with come blocks’ icons were updated.
